Sitting outside on a sunny day overlooking the canoe lake is lovely. It's so good to find gluten-free ice cream ( the freezer, just inside the cafe's door, clearly states which flavours are gluten-free), obviously in a tub—not a cone! They also offer some gluten-free food, which is great to see.

The Canoe Lake Cafe in Southsea has been an iconic café around the lake for years, relaxing and having fun with your dog running. It is a must in the area. On a sunny day, it is one of the best places in town to relax around the lake and have fun with your dog.
