Dog Festival: Free Fun for Pups in City Centre | Ex-Paw Extravaganza

A special dog show will be taking place in the city centre this April featuring a jam-packed line-up of ‘pawtastic’ fun.

Ex-Paw is the only doggy community in the city that brings you a whole load of pawsome dog trails.

Hey there! Guess what? There will be a big party for dogs in the city soon! It’s called the Ex-Paw Extravaganza, and it will be so much fun!

Free dog festival coming to the city centre.

Welcome to the Ex-Paw Extravaganza, where tails wag and paws play in the city’s heart! This extraordinary event promises a day filled with laughter, excitement, and plenty of furry fun. From thrilling agility courses to adorable puppachinos, the Ex-Paw Extravaganza celebrates all things canine. Join us as we come together to honour our four-legged friends and support a paw-some cause.

This party will happen on April 27th at Angel Meadow Park. It will start at 11 a.m. and go until 4 p.m. And guess what? It’s all free! That means anyone can come and join in the fun.

At this party, there will be lots of things to do. You can watch dogs do cool tricks and see who’s the cutest or who has the waggiest tail. There will also be yummy treats for dogs to eat and even special drinks just for them called puppacinos.

Imagine a doggy playground with fun things to do:

  • Race through an obstacle course!
  • Show off your coolest tricks for a prize!
  • Dress up in your fanciest outfit and compete to be the best-dressed pup!
  • Meet other doggies and their humans!
Mark your calendar and unleash the fun as the Ex-Paw Extravaganza returns on Saturday 27th April at Angel Meadow Park from 11am – 4pm.

If your dog is super talented or looks astonishing in its outfit, it can enter a contest. It costs a little bit of money, but don’t worry—some of that money goes to help other dogs who need it. That’s nice, right?

There will also be places to buy cool stuff for your dog, like clothes and toys. And if your dog likes to run and jump, they can try a unique course for free!

Imagine a doggy playground with fun things to do, yummy treats to eat, and even a special competition! Here’s what you can expect:

  • Games and activities: Like a playground, dogs will have things to run around and play with, like obstacle courses.
  • Treat time: There will be stalls selling yummy snacks for your furry friend.
  • Doggy competition: There’s a contest where dogs can win prizes for being the cutest, fastest waggers or having the best outfit! It costs a little bit of money to enter the contest, but some of that money goes to help dogs in need.
  • Free drinks for dogs! There will even be a special drink for dogs called a “puppacchino“! It’s not coffee, but something yummy they can safely enjoy.
  • Doggy meet-ups: If you have a special kind of dog, like a pug, you can meet other people with pugs (or any other kind of dog) at the park!

And guess what else? Experts will be there to discuss how to care for dogs and keep them healthy. Plus, you might even get to meet other people who love dogs just as much as you do!

So, mark your calendars for April 27th and come to Angel Meadow Park for the Ex-Paw Extravaganza. It’s going to be pawsome! Entry to the festival is free, whilst tickets to the dog show can be found on Eventbrite ex-paw-extravaganza ticket.
