Whoever coined the term ‘man’s best friend’ should have observed how dogs behave with children. They are kind, sweet and responsible brothers and sisters to their human siblings. Brutus, for example, only becomes the most affectionate sibling to Kayden, the Michalek family’s baby.

Brutus is a gentle bullmastiff who lives with his family in North Carolina and loves his stuffed animal.

Brutus is a 3-year-old Bullmastiff living in northern California with his family, the Michaleks. Technically, he is the first child in the family, according to Bonnie Michalek.

Despite his stern facial expression, Brutus is a hot and playful dog, but Bonnie and her husband are worried about how Brutus would react if they became pregnant with their first child.

Brutus loves children; he even plays with them at the park and always accepts the children’s attention whenever he meets them, but he is also used to being the only child, so they had no idea how he would take to the family’s new addition.

After Michalek gave birth to her first child, they had no worries about Brutus getting along with Kayden.

Brutus sensed Bonnie’s pregnancy before the couple even had an idea. As a result, Brutus willingly left her on nights when Bonnie’s husband was at work.

No matter how Bonnie made her crate comfortable or bribed Brutus with sweets, he would not stay inside until her husband came home.

Nine months later, when Bonnie finally gave birth to Kayden, the Michaleks ensured Brutus was part of everything.

She then invited Brutus inside to see the child.

Brutus completely bypassed my husband to meet Kayden. He immediately wanted to give him kisses” and snuggle up to him.”

Brutus stayed at Bonnie’s parents’ house while they brought the baby home. When they picked up Brutus, Bonnie gave him attention before meeting the new baby.

When they allowed him to meet Kayden, Brutus immediately went to kiss and cuddle the baby. At that moment, a unique friendship was born.

Brutus becomes Kayden’s babysitter and bodyguard, and whenever Kayden cries, Brutus brings him his worn-out fur ball.
